God of War Greek Trilogy Remake Announced and Sons of Sparta Released on PlayStation

Attention, mortals: Sony Santa Monica has apparently decided my gaming backlog was insufficient and announced a full remake of the classic God of War Greek trilogy, while also launching a new entry, God of War: Sons of Sparta. That’s right – Kratos’ rage-fueled Hellenic escapades are being reforged for modern hardware, and we’re also getting a fresh story expanding the Spartan family drama. If Spock were here, he’d say this is the only logical timeline. The Greek trilogy remake promises updated visuals, refined combat, and modern quality-of-life tweaks that bring the original Olympian smackdowns up to contemporary standards. Meanwhile, Sons of Sparta dives deeper into Kratos’ origins and the brutal legacy of Sparta, apparently blending cinematic storytelling with the series’ signature, satisfyingly crunchy combat. In short: more gods to punch, more feelings to process. Whether you’re a long-time worshipper at the altar of Kratos or a new initiate still wondering why everyone’s so angry all the time, this dual announcement means PlayStation is doubling down on the God of War mythos. #GodOfWar #PlayStation #Kratos #GamingNews
