Patch 7.41 Systems Pass: Vision, UI Logic, and Projectile Stability

Patch 7.41 is now live, with surgical changes aimed at clarity, reliability, and high-APM play. Overhead indicators now flag consumables used or transferred within 1200 units, tightening team coordination. A new option reveals your hero’s live vision cone while holding the Select Hero hotkey, filtered by Fog of War, giving shotcallers precise intel instead of guesswork. Shop logic is standardized: item recipe components now list from most expensive to least expensive to stabilize Quick Buy expectations, with explicit exceptions like boots and Blink Dagger. Projectile handling has been hardened so on-hit effects stay consistent even beyond 256 concurrent projectiles, reducing edge-case failures in high-traffic fights. Warding reliability is restored: specific cases where Observer and Sentry wards turned into error models have been fixed, protecting map control data. Neutral Item crafting is now fail-safe—if inventory is full and the Neutral slot is occupied by an innate item (e.g., Witch Doctor’s Gris Gris), the system refuses the craft instead of auto-consuming critical gear. Neutral Crafting hotkeys also no longer override standard hotkeys when triggered from heroes you can’t control, preventing input hijack scenarios. These micro-adjustments don’t change the macro-meta alone, but they harden the execution layer for stack leaders, position 5 captains, and high-MMR theorycrafters. Expect cleaner information flow, lower UI friction, and fewer mechanical desyncs in peak-load teamfights. #Dota2 #patch741 #MOBA
