The DEX plan
DEX wins through options. Draw effects keep the hand useful, while Energy refunds turn one deployment into a second action. The deck is strongest when cards are sequenced before Energy is committed elsewhere.
Profile DEX also improves DEX Minion attack. At the documented thresholds it expands opening or scheduled draw options, making the tempo plan more consistent.
Sequence before you click
Play draw and refund cards first. A final-turn Merge Conflict wastes its Energy refund, while Cache Me If You Can loses value when the hand is already full.
- Count current Energy.
- Check available hand space.
- Deploy refund effects before expensive Minions.
- Choose the destination sector only after planning the full turn.

What beats this deck
DEX bodies can be less durable than a dedicated STR wall. Avoid trading every low-cost Minion into the same protected target and keep enough pressure to convert card advantage into Commander damage.
